Suggestions for Lowering Refunds and Chargebacks and increasing your Bonuses:
When looking at our stats, we are finding many high volume affiliates who are experiencing high satisfaction rates while others need big improvements in lowering their refunds and chargeback rates. Below are some suggestions for qualifying your customer traffic.
1) Use Clickbank TID Tracking: When creating your hoplink, you are now able to include a tracking id into your affiliate hoplink. In time, this will allow you to track refunds on your converting campaigns, adgroups and even keywords. This information will help you to see which keywords or adgroups to keep focus on and which ones to discontinue to improve your Bonus ROI.
2) Google Ad Descriptions - Don't overhype your ad descriptions. When doing a search, we have found many affiliates who are promising the world with our service. We do have a great service and are always re-investing into new databases and new features for the longrun to increase quality, but try to not to give them hyped up expectations just to get the sale. Our new bonus system will pay you more by not over promising customers.
3) Soften Your Landing Pages: By using your own landing pages with your own text content, will allow you to keep better control of your satisfaction rate by softening your approach in your content. Try to stay away from saying that they "will find the record they are looking for". We do in fact have many public record databases with over 200 million records (and growing) but we need to remember that not every record is available. Customers who are joining because they believe we have a record on every person in the world or will find the exact record they are searching for has a higher likelyhood of opting-out using our Satisfaction/Refund Guarantee. The key is to keep your promotions soft. This keeps everyone happier in the end and you will get compensated for it.
4) Increasing your sales each month is another way to lower your overall refund rate.
